Nokia mobile phones have their operating systems which include; Java, Symbian, Windows, etc! And it all depends on the software version. In this tutorial, we are going to look into how to hack a Symbian phone! You all can differentiate between a Nokia Java phone, Nokia Symbian phone and Nokia windows phone. Some Symbian phone may not install an unsigned application, so for an unsigned application to be installed on your symbian mobile phone, your symbian phone really needs to be hacked. So, for you to hack your Symbian Operating Systemed mobile phone, below are the applications and things you will need for it:
A. DrWeb6 for symbian_OS
B. QuarantineDriversLLD.zip
C. RomPatcher+ 3.1 Lite or RomPatcherPlus_3.1.sisx
D. X-plore_s60_3rd_1_53.sisx
E. InstallServers_Pack.Zip
F. A memory card reader or a Nokia USB cable
G. A symbian phone that has either an in-built mass memory or a memory card
H. A personal computer.
Connect your mobile phone to a PC with your USB cable, or alternatively, connect your memory card to your PC with a card reader.
Please, don't connect the phone in Ovi Suite mode or Nokia PC suite mode, and also make sure that neither Nokia PC Suite nor Ovi Suite is running when you connect the phone to a PC, because system folders can not be accessed in these modes! You really need to do this so that you can have access to the private folder inside your mass memory or memory card.
Note: You should only use QuarantineDriversLLD.zip for all type of phones. Because some people will tell you that QuarantineF.zip is meant for Nokia phones with memory card, and QuarantineDriverLLD.zip is for Nokia phones with mass storage!
Please, it is not advisable to use "QuarantineF.zip", as you may be having errors after the hacking. So it is advisable to always use QuarantineDriverLLD.zip on all Nokia phones for an assured result!
Extract all the contents in QuarantineDriverLLD.zip into a folder named "Private" (you will see it inside the archive). Copy the folder "20024113" that will be found inside “Private” and unpack to phone mass storage or memory card. Now this is what I mean, after extracting the zip file on your PC, a folder named private will be created exactly where you unzip the archive.
Double-click My Computer on your desktop icons and open the memory card or mass memory connected to the computer, (make sure that you are opening memory card or mass memory). Now find and open the "Private" folder and paste the folder named "20024113" which is inside the folder you extracted from QuarantineDRIVERS.LLD to the private folder inside the private folder of your memory card or mass memory. Now disconnect the phone (or memory card) from PC.
If you don’t see "Private" folder in memory card, then enable the "Show hidden and System files" options in your PC and if it still doesn’t appear, then create the folder "private" manually on your memory card.
Download and install DrWeb6 for symbian and in case it ask for a registration key, press cancel for it to activate trial mode for you, and this is all you need! Launch DrWeb. Go to Options – Quarantine. In Quarantine, go to options and Select all. Go to options again, then Restore!
The RomPatcher drivers are in c:\sys\bin folder! Download and install RomPatcher+ 3.1 Lite (the download link is above!) Launch RomPatcher+ and apply Open4all patch. Now you have access to write in all system folders. You then need to apply installserver patch, so that you can install all unsigned applications compatible with your phone!
Note: In older s60v3 phone e.g Nokia E65, E51, N70, E50, E65, N73 etc, you will encounter one little problem after doing all of the above.
To solve it, open your Rompatcher and enable Install server and open4all. You will notice that install server will show red but open4all will indicate green. After extracting the installserver pack, copy out installserver9.1, open the explorer in your phone and copy the installserver to C:/sys/bin That is all.
Now go back to your Rompatcher and apply installserver, and this time, it will show green.
For a successful hacking, your "Install server" and "Open4all" must be showing green!
If you want your Rompatcher to always work automatically, then make sure you downloaded the latest version of Rompatcher then set installserver to auto patch from your Rompatches to work automatically, otherwise whenever you restart your phone, and you wish to install any unsigned application, you will still get certificate error!
So, with this tutorial, you would be able to hack any symbian phone regardless of the operating system! Thanks!
