How to spot an external or backinks to your blog!

The word external concisely means, "of or on the outside". And links on its own, simply means; "each ring of a chain; person or thing connecting others", "connect; intertwine". External links or back links are very important, and that is if your blog exhibits an article that is worthy of being linked. A female blogger from Carlifornia, linked my article on traditional marriage in Igbo land, Nigeria on her blog without my consent. Had it been she didn't tell me, I wouldn't have known. She contacted me via the name, "Ucheonye Nzubechi" at the bottom of my blog post, because I always tag my name to almost all my articles or blog posts. At least, it helps my readers to connect with me on the social network where I linked my name to. Back to the thesis at hand, which is on how to know or spot an external or back link to your blog or website!

Mr. A, may publish an article on how to prepare palm oil.
Mr. B, on how to prepare African salad.
Mr. C, on how to prepare Ora/Oha soup.
Mr. D, on how to process cassava tuber, and finally,
'Ucheonye Nzubechi on how to prepare Ogiri-Igbo.
With the above articles written by Mr. A, B, C, D and 'Ucheonye Nzubechi, you will find out that external links may possibly exist between these articles if their publishers inter-read them.

Another example is this, if you are a blogger, and you published an article on;
How to quit masturbation
How to quit pornography
How to spot a masturbator
How to spot a lesbian
How to avoid sexual harassment, etc.

But from your blog statistics, you found out that how to spot a masturbator has more page views than the rest. The reason for this, may not possibly be that people entered a related keyword on google search, or that they followed a shared link from your blog!

Meanwhile, shared links contributes to increase in page views, and as well, google's index.

If your article was linked from a reputable, if not a daily viewed blog, then it will deliberately increase your page views in that particular article more than others.

A blogger may ask
How can my article be linked? Who can link my article?

In Igbo language, we do say, "ahia oma n'ere onwe ya", meaning that "a stock of good quality, markets itself". Publishing an authentic or rare article is enough for an article on your blog to be externally linked from another person's blog! One crucial problem with newbie bloggers is that they always engage or indulge in copying other people's article, instead of them to sit down and dexteriously publish an article that is worthy of emulation! Back links or external links to your blog will help you a lot, especially in;
Adsense revenue
Adwords Google index
Blog ranking
Daily page views
, etc.

Note: Sharing your blog links to a social network like facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc will increase the chances for your blog post to be linked externally!

BENEFITS OF BACK LINKS!
*It aids adsense revenue!
*It enhances adwords earning!
*It draws readers attention!
*It draws readers to your blog!
*It rates your blog on google index!
