How to create a PDF file using CorelDRAW

My last article on CorelDRAW was on how to change image background using CorelDRAW. But in this article, I am going to put you through on how to create a (.pdf) file using CorelDRAW. Some of you might have come across the word "PDF". Well, before I continue, the word PDF simply means "Portable Document Format". A pdf file opens with Adobe Reader, Acrobat Reader, etc.
Some do create their PDF files with Primopdf! You can visit their website here. But in this article, I will nimbly elucidiate on how to create a .pdf file, using CorelDRAW. And for those of you who are conversant with CorelDRAW, then this article will subtly convey an in-depth approach as well.

Note: A PDF file is also an e-book, because an e-book is in .PDF format also! So, you are also reading on how to create an e-book using CorelDRAW!

PROCEDURE
As you open your CorelDRAW program, there is a page that is defaultly aligned at the centre of centre of your CorelDRAW Window.

Note: The size of the page determines the size of your .pdf document! So, to create an e-book with 2 pages, then you have to duplicate the page!

To adjust the page, what you need to do there is to click on the Pick Tool or alternatively, use (Ctrl + Space bar) and go to your status bar which is above the default page, look at the left side of the status bar to locate two units slated in inches, e.g (7.543 ") with description arrows near them. The arrows signifies the width and height of the default page depending on the size of the default page. Or alternatively, you can look at the extreme end of your status bar right above the default page to locate the default page settings e.g Letter, A4, A3, etc. Click on it for a drop-down menu to appear, then choose your default page size there!
Note: The lesser the width, the longer the height. After setting the default page size, your now 80% through with your .pdf or e-book file. The next is for you to import the text you want to use for your document into a text box. And if you are good in Computer graphics, you can add some graphics to suit your .pdf file!
Note: If you are doing your work on a paste board, you need to reposition it into the default page, because Corel creates a .pdf file with what is placed on the default page.

Through with your document?

What you need to do is to click on file, which is slightly left aligned above the status bar for a drop-down menu to appear. Scroll down to Publish to PDF, name your file and save it to a file location of your choice! And now, you have successfully created an e-book! That is all. Having errors? Please, contact me here!
