The society has many perceptions on the word, "Icon." An icon is not just a personality that initiates a reasonable capital in order to get a job done, or to influence a successful outcome of permutated events, without any inclination on the actual synthesis of getting the job done. An icon is also not someone that uses a carefully selected
choice of words from his or her lexicon, in order to influence people, without really paying heed to their final destination. Furthermore, an icon is not just someone that motivates people without creating a well paved road to success for them!
An icon is someone with a sincere intention of putting an inviting smile on the faces of people around them, with a view to secure a reasonable future for both them and their acquaintances, irrespective of tribal, cultural and religious differences. An icon is a
personality that toils day and night in order to make sure that a perfect result is attained, despite all odds! An icon is a personality that speaks the truth at all time, irrespective of the caliber of
people that are making frantic efforts to curtail its echo!
• Mrs. Bridget Ngozi Aniebue (Omasiridiya) - Nee Umeokeke
Omasiridiya, your early demise created a void in both me and the people around you on the 15th of January, 2015, after a battled illness. The odious news of your invidious demise enthroned my style of reasoning into an oratorio of inconveniences immediately it got to my pinna! My cerebrum and conscience went agog, because they were engulfed in cacophony tunes of uncertainties, of which I am still unable to grasp a reason out of it.
Omasiridiya, when you were alive, you were a virtuous woman of wisdom, knowledge and understanding, coupled with an unequalled ray of ambience, sincerity, determination and hard work! You sustained an exquisite cum classical echelon and maestro, to the detriment of obtaining a sustainable profit to both your family and the populace at large! You portrayed a trait that is worthy of emulation. What a rare gem you were!
Many would have tagged an icon to your current cognomen, but from a vista of perspective, you were really an "icon of many professions", a
citadel of responsibilities, of which can be harnessed and quelled into dynamic and ambidextrous concepts. You are really a colossus, till death took you away from us! On your head lies an invisible diadem of glory! At your age, you created a fortress, and an a bastion
that are full of opportunities, yet the cold hands of death never had a second thought before taking you aware from us! Despite all these accolades that are tagged alongside your personality, yet you were still humble, genial and subservient to a certain degree of a set standard of an obsequious social, cultural and religious programs, irrespective of an uncanny, mundane and frivolous atmosphere of clanging cymbals of deception! What a bestowal of a non-hackneyed humility!
• Late Mrs. Bridget Ngozi Aniebue "Nee Umeokeke" in her Catholic Women Organization (C.W.O) outfit!
Words of mouth can hardly express how I feel right now you left us when we needed you most. How do I accept your departure? Now, I am expecting to cope with the thought that I will never see you again.
Omasiridiya, I ever thought the great writer, William Shakespeare described death thus; "Death is a necessary end that will come when it will come." Omasiridiya, you have departed this mortal world to an eternal life earlier than expected, leaving us very sad, sorrowful and confused. Oh! What a heart break! You laboured very hard, but now which is the right time for you to enjoy the fruit of your labour, it happened like this! It is indeed not how long we live, but how well we lived.
• Late Mrs. Bridget Ngozi Aniebue (Omasiridiya) in her youthful age!
Omasiridiya, to say we miss you is merely an understatement, but my joy is that you accepted Christ and made your way right with God before your departure! No matter the opinion of others, death to me remains not a celebration, but a monumental loss, a devastating blow, irrespective of the achievement of the deceased while alive.
Death indeed has remained the only universal phenomenon that has
defined human and scientific exploits till death! What an inevitable pathway of mortals to immortality! Missing your tacit encouragements, advice, humorous attitudes and presence is another thing else! A great woman of honour, a philanthropist and an epitome of an unalloyed excellence, all encapsulated in a single being!

However, we are very much consoled by the fact that you had sufficient time to glorify the Almighty God before your departure to eternity! Omasiridiya, you left for all of us a legacy of life well spent in full integrity, hard work and respect for every human being.
Since the day you died, my constant meditation has always been on the words of the scripture that says; "Just as Jesus died and rose again, so will the Father bring with Him those who died in Jesus." (1 Thessalonians 4:14)
Omasiridiya, as you are fondly called, the gloomy news of your demise got me bewildered, it also faceted my idiosyncrasy into imbroglio. But in all things, we should give glory to the Almighty God, for He knows the best!
Omasiridiya, rest in the bosom of the Lord, as we await the time of resurrection in fulfillment of God's promise to those that believe in Him!
Good Night! Till we meet to part no more!!!
