Tecno Mobile just released a new phone, Tecno Phantom Z. It is made of mouth watering specs. Octa core processor, 16MP & a 6" display. We have been keeping our fingers crossed, and waiting for this beast to arrive! But the good news is that the long awaited beast(Tecno Phantom Z) is here at last!!!
The hectacore Tecno R7 is barely 2 months old, but Tecno have already teased another flagship, the Tecno Phantom Z.
The Tecno Phantom Z is yet another flagship from Tecno(And it's a freaking Octacore)

This one, one-ups the Tecno R7 in the number of processing cores. It's an octacore. That's right, 8 cores. I will confess I'm not as intrigued about the phone as I was about the TV ad(which by the way is an impressive first from Tecno), considering the Tecno R7 fell short of my expectations. So, I'm not sure what to make of the Tecno Phantom Z.

But let's pretend the octacore processor is as a huge deal as it's made out to be. What else has the Tecno Phantom Z going for it? Tecno Phantom Z smartphone
which is powered with an 8-core processor and has a RAM of 1GB. The Tecno Phantom Z is also the First Tecno that seems to come with an operating System of Android 4.4.0 KitKat and it's another flagship from Tecno Mobile.

It's internal memory has a ROM of 16GB, RAM of 1GB and Card slot that accepts Micro SD of upto 64GB. It's processor is powered with Octa-core CPU, Media Chipset.

Not a particularly horrible specification sheet, albeit very similar to the Tecno R7. But considering that Tecno now supports OTA updates(one of my personal wishes for Tecno in 2014 is granted), I'm just going to assume there's a major software update in the works to rollout Android KitKat to R7 users later in the future. That has got to be it. Tecno Phantom Z has been released in some major countries around the globe!
