Well , a common problem which is often faced by the mobile facebook users is tagging friends to any comment or status with their mobile phone. Using a PC, you can just use @, and type the first 1 - 3 letters of your friends, after that, all of your friends whose name relates with those letters comes up in a drop down menu. You just have to select the person from the drop down menu, and your tagging is done. Well, this feature is also available for smartphone users, but those that are using Java phones don't have this feature, thereby tagging friends to a facebook status becomes hard for Java phone users. A. First of all, you have to find out the Profile ID of the person whom you want to tag. To do so, you can simply go to his or her facebook profile, use your browser to view his or her profile URL, and you will notice a URL like this;-
www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=3015203430.
In this case, the profile ID is 3015203430. Similarly, you can also find out your friend’s profile ID.
B. You are now ready to tag him on any status or comment. To get started, just type @[Profile ID:Name] where you want the tag to appear!
For example:-
I learned how to tag my facebook friends from an article written by @[3015203430:Ucheonye Nzubechi] on how to tag your facebook friends to a status or comment!
Well, you are done now! Facebook will surely notify him or her that someone mentioned him in a post and many of your friends can also click on his name to check his profile and that is all.
There is another way you can use inorder to get your friend's user ID. Just go to;
http://graph.facebook.com/theusername.....
For e.g, just go to;
http://graph.facebook.com/ucheonye.nzubechi and copy my ID there! For e.g if my ID is 3015203430, then type it like this; @[3015203430:0] and that is all.
